On your first load in steam sterilizer what kind of Biological Indicator we need to use, is there any available?

Dear Jomitt3.
In each steam cycle you can use BI that included G. Stearothermophilus 1×106. All demands for BI for steam sterilization you can read in ISO 11138-3 “Biological indicators for moist heat sterilization”. In demands of EN 285 “Steam large sterilizers” all large sterilizers must to have in cool point minimum 121 0C-15 min. Sterilization cycles 1340C -5 min and 1210C -20 min both must to inactivate G. Stearothermophilus 1×106 because they are both give to MD energy of activation of hydrolysis (denaturation) of bacteries and bacteria’s spores.
