Dear Prasad.

Test package “Bowie-Dick” is designed for periodic testing of steam sterilizers for vapor permeability and removal of air from the sterilization chamber.
The test package is a multi-layer package wrapped in wrapping paper from an inert paper load with an indicator sheet in the center. Used in the test bowie-dick cycle – “134 °C, 3.5 minutes.”
Product feature:
• class 2 indicator (for special tests) according to ISO 11140-1;
• meets the requirements of ISO 11140-4 and ISO 11140-5;

“Helix-Test” is a reusable device made of a polymer tube and a plastic case with an internal cavity and includes disposable indicator strips for each test cycle. It is used to control the serviceability of steam sterilizers with forced for vacuum removal in the test cycle: “134+3 °C, 3,5+0,5 min” in an empty sterilization chamber.
Product feature:
• class 2 indicator (for special tests) according to ISO 11140-1-2011;
• meets the requirements of EN 13060 (classified as hollow product type A) and EN 867-5;

As you see that all this two indicators are creating with same standarts.
IMHO In usually work if you are sterilize mostly biggest part of porus load you should use “Bowie-Dick” test pack, if you are sterilize mostly biggest part of tube load (tubular instruments) you should use “Helix-Test”.

Hope it’s help.
